CUSTOM RIDE SYSTEMS
The majority of CAVU’s work is custom, to develop a custom attraction, CAVU starts with a description of the ride experience and the capacity requirements from the client. CAVU reviews this information and develops a few different ride concepts that reflect the intention of the desired experience. After a concept is chosen, CAVU begins the engineering process, involving the client at key steps along the way.
DARK RIDES
SELF DRIVING VEHICLES
CAVU’s fleet of Self Driving Vehicles are the next generation of trackless dark ride vehicles.
CAVU has three versions of the trackless dark ride vehicle that deliver an unprecedented 99% uptime and require no external infrastructure for navigation.
MULTI-AXIS DARK RIDE
CAVU’s Multi Axis Dark Ride system has the freedom of movement similar to that of a robotic arm, but with a higher capacity of 8 seats per vehicle, giving this attraction the next level in efficiency and technology.
INTERACTIVE RIDES
QUEST
THEMED ENTERTAINMENTS FIRST WALK-THROUGH RIDEBuilt as a modular attraction, Quest allows designers to choose from as many modules as they would like from the “menu”. The idea is to allow designers to choose which components and modules fit with the overall attraction theme, footprint, throughput requirements, and budget. This allows for the most flexibility and applicability, regardless of the project size.
INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA DROP TOWER
TOWER BATTLEThis ride features 2 vehicles on drop towers, each vehicle is a team. Between the towers can be a transparent screen, or traditional opaque screen allowing us to display immersive media in front of each team.
INTERACTIVE DARK RIDE
ADVENTURE MACHINEAn interactive dark ride where guests come to decision points throughout the ride and, through their interactions, they choose which path to take and control the outcome.
THEATRES
FLYING THEATRE
CAVU’s Flying Theatre delivers unparalleled aerial adventures such as soaring over landmarks or high adrenaline aerial flying experiences. When the show ends, all seating modules return to the load/unload position and guests exit the theater as new guests enter, minimizing load/unload times.
MAV X-RIDE
ADVENTURE SIMULATORDeveloped in partnership with Kraftwerk Living Technologies, the MAV X-Ride is an Adventure Simulator that fully immerses guests into the action.
Guests board their SFX motion simulator and experience an action packed adrenaline rush. This attraction delivers a thrilling, multi-sensory experience with smooth, accurate motion offering dramatic acceleration.
MOTION SIMULATOR
CAVU’s Motion Simulator can achieve a wide range of motion from three Degrees of Freedom (3 DOF) to six Degrees of Freedom (6 DOF). This motion is synchronized with the projected media, creating a realistic and immersive vehicle experience.
VIRTUAL REALITY
INTERACTIVE VR MOTION BASE SYSTEM
CAVU’s Interactive VR Motion Base system is developed in partnership with DreamCraft Attractions and combines Virtual Reality technology with a motion base ride system placing guests inside the experience. DreamCraft’s patented attraction incorporates proprietary software and programming developments, coupled with the Interactive VR Motion Base that brings real-time rendering to the attractions world.
